The Great Gatsby Delayed

Warner Bros said The Great Gatsby, Baz Luhrmann's 3D adaptation of the iconic Fitzgerald novel, has been delayed until 2013, reported BBC News.

The film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan and also features Tobey Maguire and Isla Fisher, was supposed to be released December 25 in the US but will be pushed to the summer so that, as Warner Bros put it, "this unique film reaches the largest audience possible," according to BBC.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the decision to move "The Great Gatsby" was done so Luhrmann could complete the 3D effects in a proper manner. The Times also reports that the film will have an all-star soundtrack, similar to Luhrmann's "Moulin Rouge!"
